HOUNÖ A/S was established in 1977 by mechanical engineer Hans Jørgen Houmøller. Throughout the years, the company has grown from a small Danish company into a leading manufacturer of combi ovens and bake-off ovens.

HOUNÖ has moved from developing convection ovens for restaurants in Denmark to offering the widest range of combi ovens and bake-off ovens in the world. Our customers include hotels, restaurants, schools, nursery homes, supermarkets, service stations, ships, etc.

All Visual Cooking ovens are made exclusively of high-quality components at our production facilities in Randers, Denmark.

From the very beginning, HOUNÖ's strategy has been to focus on developing close relationships with our business partners around the world. In close cooperation with them, we create innovative oven solutions that exceed our customers' expectations.

In 2006, the founder of HOUNÖ sold the company to the successful Middleby Corporation. The American group of companies have more than 1,700 employees worldwide and is one of the market leaders within the commercial cooking equipment industry.
